Terms of Service

By installing or using SP Control ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

1. Service Description

SP Control is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI clients (such as Claude Desktop, Cursor, and Windsurf) to interact with your Shopify store through the Shopify Admin API. The Service acts as a bridge — it relays requests from your AI client to Shopify and returns the results.

2. Account and Access

• You must have a valid Shopify store to use the Service
• Upon installation, you receive a unique MCP URL for your store
• Your MCP URL is a secret — treat it like an API key. Do not share it publicly
• You are responsible for all actions performed through your MCP connection

3. Plans and Pricing

• Free Plan: 100 API calls per month, read-only tools (products, orders, customers, inventory, store info)
• Pro Plan ($9/month): Unlimited API calls, all tools including write operations (update products, create discounts, fulfill orders, adjust inventory)

Pro plan billing is handled through Shopify's billing system. You can cancel at any time from your Shopify admin.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to abuse or overload the Shopify API beyond normal usage
• Share your MCP URL with unauthorized users
• Reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal activity

5. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or errors in AI-generated actions. You are responsible for reviewing any changes made to your store through the MCP connection.

6. Shopify Platform

The Service operates within Shopify's API rate limits and policies. We are not responsible for changes to the Shopify API, downtime, or restrictions imposed by Shopify.

7. Termination

• You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin
• We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms
• Upon termination, your MCP URL will stop working and stored credentials will be invalidated

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the app dashboard.
